The vibe was very chill. The cafe downstairs is the perfect place to write post cards or plan the next steps of your trip (both of which I did). Which, by the way, there's a post office just around the corner, super convenient! I'm a solo female and booked the 4 female dorm for 2 nights. The dorm had high ceilings (heat rises) and a big 5-speed fan next to a cooling vent. If you're looking for frigid temperatures, PODs aren't it. But it's cool, and I was comfortable under a blanket. In the dorm, there were decent lockers and a provided pillow/blanket. Plus, a trash can. The facilities were cleaned every day. The shower/bathroom has a little porch with a drying rack. It also has wash basins for hand washing clothes if you have your own soap. The showers are roomy with 4 hooks and a shelf. The toilets are toilets. I think there's a rooftop? I didn't take the elevator all the way up, so I'm not sure if it's open on weekdays or only weekends. Ask the staff! The entrance/ elevator is shared with other businesses in the building. So your key card works on the PODs door on the level you're roomed. Key card for main entrance and physical key for your specific room.

I booked this hostel because of its proximity to KL Sentral and therefore easy connections to the rest of the city and the airport for an early flight. Initially I thought the hostel looked quite stark in terms of the dorm rooms but after my initial thoughts I really liked this hostel. Plenty of hot water to shower and the cafe is a really good community area with the hosts/owner extremely helpful about how to get to various places etc. in fact one night we went on an impromptu tour of the night market together. The cafe has hot and cold water for drinks etc and a fridge for the use of the residents. The Owner is constantly trying to improve his hostel and asking for opinions of guests on what they think. I’m intending to back in KL in May and will definitely stop here and I suspect it would have improved more by then. Definitely value for money and you can’t get a better location for links to The Petronas Towers, Batu caves and the airport links.

I enjoyed staying here. The location is great, staff is very nice and keeping the place clean. There is a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy city view, downstairs you can get nice coffee. Train station and bus are very easy to reach. First I stayed in the private room, but moved to the dorm when I extended my stay. I felt more comfortable in the dorm, as it is a nice big room with windows. I would definitely be back again.

The receptionist seemed pretty cool and spoke good English. It's located walking distance from the central station and a mini Hawker Center. The showering was really comfortable, as it was spacious and gave a lot of water. There is a cosy roof terrace to hang out at where from a specific point, you can even see the 2nd biggest building in the world!! The sleeping room offers a lot of space to pack and unpack.

Have stayed here before when in transit...conveniently close to Sentral for bus to airport. basic but clean affordable hostel. Have only stayed in private room so can't comment on dorms. Lot's of good cheap eats nearby in Brickfields.
